I have been cold since mid-December when the skies parted and imparted upon us the most annoying series of snowfalls in 20 years. And it doesn't look like it is going to end.
HOWEVER There is an alternative to being cold! Ceili dancing! I have never stayed cold while at a ceili. So here's your chance! Be warm! Dance and enjoy yourself! It's ceili time in Salem again! Yay! All the important details are below on their poster. :) Central Oregon people, I know it's unlikely you'll make it out there what with the snow, but keep in mind that second Fridays are pretty much always ceilis in Salem so you'll have plenty of chances to go. If you do head over, please be careful! From Ceili of the Valley's Facebook event (they just said it so well), "It's the Ceili of the Valley Society's Second Friday Ceili Mor on November 11th. Come enjoy Irish and Scottish dances and listen to fantiastic tunes from Mikey Beglan, Chad Southwell and Teresa Baker. Sam Keator will be the caller. Don't miss this chance to enjoy a night of music and camaraderie, even if you don't dance!"
