We know it can be hard for us Central Oregonians to get over the mountains this time of year, but this show looks like it's worth the attempt.
Molly's Revenge, with guest vocalist Amelia Hogan and the Murray Irish Dancers present an evening of holiday-themed music and dance. The doors open at 7:00pm and the performance starts at 7:30pm. This fun event takes place at the First Presbyterian Church (114 SW 8th Street, Corvallis, OR 97333). Tickets are $20 online or $22 per person at the door. For more info, check out the Facebook event or the Corvallis Folklore Society website.

♫ O céili dance, o céili dance
How lively are thy jig steps ♫ Details on the poster below or at Ceili of the Valley's website. ♫ On the seventh of December Sam Keator gave to me... A céili in a pear tree! ♫
Well... kind of. There isn't actually a pear tree. But there is a céili at the Winona Grange (8340 SW Seneca St) on December 7th. The doors open at 7pm and a dance lesson will follow shortly afterwards. The live music and dancing with last until 11pm (with a break for snacks in the middle). It's $12 per person or $10 for students and seniors. In the spirit of the season, the December Tualatin céili is also a food drive for the Tualatin School House Pantry, so don't forget your donations! Hope to see you there! Here's a link to the Facebook event and to IrishPDX's page in case you'd like more info. |
