If you don't want to travel all the way to Portland to join in the St. Patrick's Day festivities, you're in luck! Tonight is the Celtic Music Session at Dudley's (135 NW Minnesota Avenue) right here in Bend.
They'll start playing around 6pm and go until 9 or so. If you're lucky someone will sing a song or two, and there might even be some dancing! To borrow the lovely Michele's description, "Come and listen or join in. We play traditional music from Ireland and Scotland, and if we are lucky, someone might give us a song or two. All are welcome. We try to follow the rules of traditional sessions (or at least the general guidelines!)--we play the tune in unison a few times, then switch on the fly." No Meese this month, but you guys should still go! It's always a grand time!

Sometimes, it's as simple as listening--to the music in this case. Tomorrow, March 5th, from 2 to 6pm, Dudley's Celtic Session and The Old Time Jam are partnering with the ACLU to hold a Sanctuary Session at Dudley's Bookshop and Cafe (135 NW Minnesota Ave).
